Mainly concern the related Adams and Withers families of the Petersburg, Va., area, including Prince George and Dinwiddie counties, including correspondence of Samuel [Adams], Elizabeth [Adams?], and Larkin Adams, concerning an impending visit to Halifax County, Va., and other family matters; miscellaneous accounts of Samuel Adams; legal papers asking a court to appoint commissioners to settle the estate of Weathers [i.e., Withers] Adams; and a list of jurors in Commonwealth of Virginia v. Youngman (in an unidentified court in Va.). Also, include papers, 1806-1843, of John Grammer (first clerk of the Hustings Court of Petersburg, Va.). Include a letter to Grammer from Joseph G.
